Hey!
I am taking refuge in music and these are songs that have caught my ear lately and have made me float away. Hope you enjoy them too.
I am going to start off with the latest one release (only 12 days ago) but it has had some buzz so feels like a bit longer.
NEW DORP. NEW YORK. – SBTRKT ft. Ezra Koenig (Official Video)
I really recommend you check out the page for the album (which is available on pre-order). To do so you can click here.
Catchy and energetic and eclectic and just screaming “dance and let go!” its a MUST for parties from now on, at least my parties! (which basically take place with me sitting in front of the computer…) Still, it is FUN and GOOD, which of course is a winning combination.
SBTRKT ( pronounced “subtract”) is a project led by Aaron Jerome.

Aaron Jerome is another phenomena from the ‘Age of the Producer’ (Pharrell, Timbaland, Kaney West i.e.). He was raised in Nairobi, Kenya. His family is Indian. He is now a DJ in London. His music reflects his varied influences, very cosmopolitan. I read that he was influenced by the first record he bought “3 Feet High and Rising” by De La Soul. What do you think?
Pools – Glass Animals
This British band released it´s debut album in June 2014.
I like the video.
I like the lyrics
“We float before the sea and eyes
Getting heavy mixing glitter thighs
I smile because I won’t do
I smile because you won’t do”
They were the first band signed by famous producer Paul Epworth. Wanna read a long review?

Touch – Shura
Aleksandra Denton. 23 years old. Half English, half Russian.

She produces her own music.
